Beach Volleyball

Cameron has been following the AVP beach volleyball since he found out Jake Gibb from just down the street in Bountiful has been competing on tour. Jake Gibb used to spike on Cameron's head all the time when Cameron was 12 and 13 years old, and Cameron is happy to see the poundings didn't go to waste. Gibb was the top winner on the AVP tour in 2005 and was named the 2005 MVP. We planned to go the the Cincinnati Open with the Parker family for quite some time and it was a blast. Amy got a small taste of Southern California just north of Louisville. We were able to watch Jake Gibb play and talk to him a little bit about the good old days of playing sports at our church. Here is a picture of us watching the games. They take a bunch of sand and just dump it on a tennis court. Andy Roddick won the ATP Cincy title just a few weeks before on this court.
