Summer Stuff, Our Family Reunion & Russell's Wedding

Congratulations Russell and Libby! What a cute couple!

They've got the wedding blues. Carson was not feeling very well during all of the wedding festivities. And this was taken before Amara dislocated her elbow at the reception.

Russell and Libby with the nieces and nephews. I love these crying-kid photos.

At the Davis county fair petting zoo, we found this long horned cattle-type animal. I can't remember what it is called but would you want to pet it? This is a real photo.

You can't leave the fair without a ladybug balloon bracelet from a clown.

Amara had her first pony ride by herself. This photo was taken before she started crying. She cried the whole time and then at the end wanted to ride again. Go figure!

This is Amara actually flying the kite by herself. After months of waiting for enough wind, we finally flew our kites.

Grandpa giving the tour of the natural spring. Yummy pure water from the ground.

The river/stream next to our family cabin.

Amara and Katie - the little girls on the prarie.

Cameron and Amara went hot tubbing (actually it was just a warm tub) with some cousins.

We had our family reunion at a cabin near Heber City. It was such a fun time and the weather & view was gorgeous.

This was the view from our cabin. Nothing but Aspen trees and wildflowers.

These kids love to climb on Dad.

This was Amara's first time playing "Pin the Tail on the Donkey" for Donovan's birthday.

Not quite near the donkey, but nice try!
All 12 grandkids together (that will be 15 by November!)

It is really fun to see Amara and Carson begin to really love playing with each other.

We can't keep Carson away from books. He LOVES LOVES LOVES them. Especially the ones that tear easily. Maybe he'll be our studious, analytical one.

This photo was taken before Carson began taking over the tub and steamrolling over Amara.

I am really diggin' the bowties. Where did you find Carson's?

Those pics are classic, especially the bath-time hair on Amara! I also dig the bowtie... a charming look for Carson.

You asked about our camera- it is a Canon EOS Rebel XSi 12 MP. I love it. The basic automatic setting is so easy to use but there are tons of other settings and options to dink around with. Defintely worth the money. We bought ours last year, after our other camera broke, for Christmas and my birthday but got it during the holiday sales so we got a terrific deal on it.
