Here are some pictures of our little Jackson Taylor Dibb, our third Dibblet, and the days surrounding his birth. He is one week old today. He was born September 1, weighing 8 pounds, 3 ounces. He is a keeper! He only woke up once last night between 11 pm and 7 am. We'll see if that happens again :). Amy is starting to feel a lot better and back to normal, thanks to Grandma Linda, who has been here for the last few days to help out while we adjust to having three little ones at home.

Jackson had a bit of a traumatic delivery. He was delivered face first, as opposed to top-of-the-head first like most babies. The doctor tried to turn him during the labor but he wouldn't budge, so he was pretty swollen in his face for a few hours.

Jackson's first sponge bath at home. That was a memorable, hilarious time. We took off Jackson's diaper a little too early and Carson got "squirted" in the face by his new brother, and watching all of this made Amy laugh so hard she wet her pants!
The last few weeks have made me learn again that prayers are answered, and many times the answers come through other people. That's why we are sent to families and guided to associations with certain people at crucial times. A conversation with a sister, a referral to a certain doctor, a conversation with a nurse, a meal from a friend, a visit from Grandma, and a very sleepy, peaceful baby are only a few of the answers that have come. There are so many wonderful people who have helped our family and who support us through life. The safe arrival of little Jackson has been a miracle and an ultimate blessing for our family.

Congratulations! Jackson is beautiful, or should I say handsome b/c he is a boy?! :) Anyway, congrats! We are very excited for you, and we are glad everything went well. Maybe Jackson went face first b/c he was anxious to see it all from the very beginning? :)
I am so happy for you!!!! Three is fun and you are out numbered but you get totally used to it!!!! Let me know if you need anything and we are always right next door. Jackson is so cute and I can't wait to watch him grow!
