Worth Watching

I just finished taking the bar and Amy is visiting her parents, so I have been able to watch a few movies this weekend. I want to throw in my two bits and say that today I saw Part I of the documentary Planet Earth, and I think it is awesome. There are some wonderful pictures and great information. According to the makers, they spent $25 million to make it. It talks about various places and animals throughout the world. Take time out and watch it if you get a chance.

Family Fun

Stacy and Jeff Soto were married on July 14, 2007. The wedding was the grand finale to a fun filled weekend with family. Baby Kate Record was blessed, we had a Record family reunion at Murray Park, and there were various family get-togethers when time (and children) would allow.

It was the first time the entire family was all together in 3 years. The last time was at our wedding in 2004. Since then, various members of the family have lived in Argentina, California, Arizona, Texas, Utah, Kentucky, Idaho, and Minnesota. The number of Record grandchildren went from 2 (2 boys) to 9 (now 6 boys and 3 girls). And the number of in-laws grew one more with Jeff joining the family. Below are various photos from the activities.

The newlyweds.

The picture with all the nieces and nephews. They did not have any more success with the tired children than we did at our wedding.

But the kids were all happy when they got some candy...
Amy got to help out as the photographer's assistant for Stacy's bridal shots. She got a few pictures herself.

A shot of the wedding cake. There were actually multiple cakes, but this is the only one we got a picture of.

The reception was a lot of fun and we took a bunch of pictures.

The hard part about having a bigger family is it is so hard to get a picture that you want. Cameron spent time getting a shot of Ginger and Daniel's family, but he never got one where all three of their boys were looking at the camera with their hands down and not making faces. This picture was an attempt to get all of the three girl cousins together for a picture. This is the best picture we could get where we could see all the faces.

Here are some pictures from the week. First up, the Jackson three. They spent the week with us at our apartment so they get special mention and a picture in the blog.
Next is Nathan and his family who blessed their baby Kate while they were here so the whole family could see it.

We all had a good time and got in a lot of pictures.
The next time we will all be together is Christmas 2007 in sunny Santa Barbara, California...

December, with family, and in the most beautiful city in America. What more could you ask for? We can't wait!

The Records Return

Amy's parents have returned from their mission in Argentina. President and Sister Record served in the Buenos Aires South mission for three years and we are so excited to have them back. Family came from all across the country to welcome them home.

Here is a picture of Grand-pa seeing Amara for the first time.

Dibb Summer Daze

What a great summer it has been so far and we are looking forward to many more adventures.

Amara is really starting to be able to move and play with her toys and it is becoming fun to see how she soaks up information and watch as she learns and gains experience.

Amy and her sister Stacy at her wedding shower (Stacy's wedding is July 14th). She booked Timp for the wedding. Many more pictures from Amy's family will follow in the next couple of weeks. Her parents come home from a 3 year mission in Argentina during the month of July and Stacy will have her wedding.

Emily is Married

Cameron's sister Emily and Trevor Thiriot got married on June 23, 2007. Here are a few of the picutures we took at their wedding and the festivities.
