Happy Easter

We had a great Easter week. Family was in town and we were able to do a lot of fun things. Grandma and Grandpa came to visit from Santa Barbara.

We started Carson on more solid foods. The first attempt was with rice. It did not go over too well.

We also hosted a baby shower for Amy's sister Stacy:
Amy made this blanket for her gift. The baby will be so stylin'.

Amara was able to go on an Easter egg hunt. Here she is at the start. You can see the anticipation in her eyes.

Amara's system of gathering eggs was very methodical. She would walk up to an egg, pick it up and then open it to see what was inside. By that time, all the other kids would run by and pick up a bunch of eggs. Amara was very content taking everything one step at a time.
